It consists of several open-use Kopimi images. We are holding a digital service in #kopimi.DService on the irc.telecomix.org IRC server. If you cannot make the service, you can participate in spirit by downloading and seeding the torrent file linked above, and by sharing data with other people actively during the next 12 hours.

EDIT: The link seemed to be prompting people for a password, so it has been removed. There was no password originally, and the link was working for a few hours without this oddity. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get to the appropriate computer in order to fix the issue. Sorry for the confusion.

The irc.telecomix.org leads you to a login page he means, its not the normal telecomix web-IRC window.

There is a growing trend in physics to define the physical world as being made of information itself (and thus information is defined in this way). Information has a well-defined meaning in physics. Examples of this include the phenomenon o…f quantum entanglement where particles can interact without reference to their separation or the speed of light. Information itself cannot travel faster than light even if the information is transmitted indirectly (personaly, I believe that it can travel faster than light, but it is a topic for Kopimism theologists to explore).
Wheeler’s “it from bit” –[…] it is not unreasonable to imagine that information sits at the core of physics, just as it sits at the core of a computer. (John Archibald Wheeler 1998: 340)

–“informational structural realism” is a variant of structural realism that supports an ontological commitment to a world consisting of the totality of informational objects dynamically interacting with each other. Such informational objects are to be understood as constraining affordances.
