Ideas are not Property. Ideas are not Currency

“I met a man with a dollar. We exchanged dollars. We each still had one dollar.

Then I met a man with an idea. We exchanged ideas. Now we each have two ideas.”

  1. Way to copy George Bernard Shaws…. “If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.”

  2. Reminds me of the Kopimist proverb we can thank Anatole France for…..”When a thing has been said and well said, have no scruple: take it and copy it.”

  3. Or perhaps Don Davis is aware like Ben Franklin was that “Originality is the art of concealing your sources” 🙂
